We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, government IDs, financial account data, biometric data, or precise GPS location.
How we use information
- Operate the builder, matching tool, and content.
- Measure traffic, fix bugs, and improve the site.
- Attribute outbound clicks and signups to advertising sources for measurement and partner reporting.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
How we share information
- Service providers: hosting, analytics, and error monitoring providers acting on our instructions under contract.
- Affiliate partner platforms: when you click an outbound partner link, attribution identifiers (e.g. click IDs, sub IDs, campaign parameters) are passed to that partner. The partner then operates under its own privacy policy.

We do not sell personal information for money.
California privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you specific rights.
Categories of personal information collected in the last 12 months:
- Identifiers (IP address, cookie/device identifiers, click IDs).
- Internet or other electronic network activity (browsing, interactions with the site, referring URLs).
- Geolocation (approximate, derived from IP).
- Inferences drawn from the above to suggest companion styles or platforms.
Sources: directly from you, from your device/browser, and from URL parameters appended by advertising networks or partners.
Business and commercial purposes: operating the site, analytics, security, ad measurement, and affiliate attribution.
Categories disclosed: identifiers and internet activity disclosed to service providers and to affiliate partners.
Sale and sharing: we do not sell personal information for money. We do share identifiers and internet activity with affiliate partners for cross-context behavioral advertising and attribution purposes, which qualifies as "sharing" under the CPRA.
Right to Opt Out of Sale/Sharing: you may opt out by emailing privacy@vibecompanionlab.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information". We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal sent by your browser as a valid opt-out for that browser and device.
Sensitive personal information: we do not collect sensitive PI as defined under the CPRA, so the right to limit its use does not apply.
Financial incentives: none offered.
Your other California rights: right to know, access, delete, correct, and non-discrimination. To exercise, email privacy@vibecompanionlab.com. You may use an authorized agent; we will verify identity using reasonable methods proportionate to the request.
Minors: the site is 18+ and we do not knowingly collect, sell, or share personal information of consumers under 16.
EU and UK rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, the GDPR or UK GDPR applies. We are the controller of personal data processed through the site.
Lawful bases:
- Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): providing the builder and matching tool you request.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): non-essential cookies, analytics, and affiliate tracking where consent is required under local ePrivacy rules.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): basic measurement, security, fraud prevention, and improving the site. We balance these interests against your rights; you may object at any time.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): complying with applicable laws.
Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent (without affecting prior lawful processing). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — for UK residents the ICO, for EU residents your national or lead DPA.
International transfers: data may be processed in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum) with our service providers.

Cookies and similar technologies (ePrivacy)
We use the following cookie / storage categories:
- Strictly necessary: required for the site to function (session, security).
- Analytics: aggregate usage measurement.
- Affiliate attribution: stores campaign and click identifiers passed through URL parameters so partners can attribute signups.
You can refuse non-essential cookies through your browser settings, by enabling Global Privacy Control, or by browser-level tracking protection. Until a consent banner is in place, EU/UK visitors who do not wish to permit analytics or affiliate tracking should refuse via their browser before continuing to use the site.

- Server and analytics logs: typically up to 13 months.
- Affiliate attribution identifiers in browser storage: until you clear your browser storage or until the entry's natural expiry.
- Email correspondence: as long as reasonably needed to respond and document the matter.

We use TLS in transit, least-privilege access for administrative tools, and do not collect financial or government-ID information. No service can guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
The site is for adults 18+ only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact privacy@vibecompanionlab.com and we will delete it.
Third-party links
Outbound partner platforms are independent third parties with their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for their data handling. Review their policies before signing up.
